Surfing lessons, courses, rentals and surf trips

The surfbus leave from Cabarete to Encuentro beach every day at 6.3 AM, 8.30 AM and 3.00 PM and you can come back to Cabarete at 8.30 AM, 11.30 AM and 5.00 PM. The drive lasts only 10 min. If you are not doing the Surf Camp we can pick you up from any hotel in Cabarete and organize you transfer from any other places for additional cost.

Our Surfing lessons are open to male and females of all ages. Each surf lesson includes transfer from Cabarete to Encuentro Surf beach and and back, surfboard, rash guards, surf boots, 30 min theory and 2 hours of instruction in the water. In the afternoon, our students have the chance to go out on there own in an safe and supervised environment.
Most of our students manage to stand up and surf there first wave during their first lesson.

 

 

 

Beginner Lessons
The describtion is based on the 3 days surfcourse, but we also run 5 days and weekly programs for more skills.

Land and ocean knowledge Practice on simulator to learn position, paddling, and take off Learn to ride the white water. Go with teacher in the water using a larger beginner board and practice positioning, paddling, takeoff and surf	Learn how to evaluate the wave conditions. Advanced Lessons

We will evaluate each student depending on his physical and skill level. You will go surfing with one of our professional instructors with whom together you will work on improving your level of surfing knowledge.
You will learn to fine tune your skills and we can teach you some tricks as maybe a floater or how to throw some airs or other radical maneuvers, or even the simple things like how to improve your duckdive.

Stand Up Paddle Board(SUP)
Lessons and rentals are available. You can practice in the lagoon or at our surf school at Encuentro.

Once a week we organize a surftrip to other spots on the Northshore

Playa Caleton: 45 min from here, small and very nice, romantic Caribbean, crystal blue water, fish specials, lobster and typical fresh Surfer-Cocktails........

Playa Grande: the most famous, around 1 hour drive, beautiful bay, big beach, nice water and waves, fresh fish.

Playa Preciosa: 2 min from Playa Grande. You have to see the beautiful Caribbean nature at it´s best ! outside reef (left), inside el Barco(right)
